TableBoss - Joomla Extension for Online Restaurant Reservations

For what I've seen Table Boss is a very interesting component for Joomla.

I'm considering to use it on websites of customers, but before that I would like to test the software (play with it)...

Are there any trials or something like that available?

Hmmm, too bad, I always like to experience the software myself, look and feel, adjust and see if any questions come up.

An interactive meeting is an option I suppose. I will think about it.

I think US$ 250,= is a bit too high to experiment with. Although I would pay it for a good quality product.

There is a one time low cost per Joomla! installation, The only recurring cost is an optional $50.00 annual fee (after the first year) that will allow you to continue to receive ongoing support and maintenance upgrades. If you look at it from that perspective it is a ridiculously low price and we have left plenty of room for Website Developers to add a profit margin. For restaurant owners, this cost is negligible compared to the advantage it offers , allowing customers to make 'real' reservations online 24x7.

I understand your point. The problem is that I'm not a restaurant owner, so questions and stuff are asked by third parties to me. That's why I want to learn the software before buying it.

Personally I've loads of questions like:
- Is it possible to change the "Party Size" from dropdown to a fill in field.
- Is it possible to change the values in Meal (Dinner / Lunch) or skip this part.
- Is it possible to only enter time of arrivel (some customers have restaurants where they reserve the table for the entire evening).
- Is it possible to add an "comment" field to the wizard.
- Is it possible to enter your preferences, like "i'm a vegetarian".
- Is it possible to let the administrator confirm the reservation before making it definitive.
- How easy is it to administer from the backend in joomla.
- And loads of other questions...

That's why a demo of trial to be installed by yourself would be very handy.

Anyway, because it's a great product I will get back to you for a demo.
